OYO State chapter of the Accord Party ( AP) yesterday called on the Commissioner of Police in the state to call the immediate past interim council chairman of Ibadan North West Local Council, Wasiu Olatubosun to order, citing his alleged campaign of calumny against the party leader, Rashidi Ladoja.
The party, in a petition by its secretary, Alhaji Bola Akinyemi, titled “Falsehood and campaign of calumny against the person of Senator Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja and Accord” and made available to reporters in Ibadan, accused Olatunbosun of maligning the image of the former governor using a faceless group, “”Ajumose Coalition Movement”.
“Olatubosun alleged that Accord and Ladoja were responsible for erecting bill boards in the name of Senator Ajimobi and APC calling for a rerun of the governorship election of April 11 ,2015. This criminal falsehood is not only prejudicial; it is also an insult on the integrity of the panel sitting on the governorship election petitions.
