Algeria and Sierra Leone will resume battle in Blida on Saturday, in the return leg of their 2015 CAF U-23 Championship qualifiers’ tie.

While it is a home match for the Leone Stars, the ‘Fennecs’ will again be able to rely on the full support of their fans due to the Ebola ban imposed on the host nation.

The Algerians are taking a two-goal advantage into the game, after securing a 2-0 victory in the first leg on Sunday, thanks to a brace from Abdelhakim Amokrane.

The DRB Tadjenanet’s striker headed the ball home twice in the first twenty minutes of the game, to hand his side a comfortable lead going into the reverse fixture.

“We could have scored three or four goals, but we only netted two. There is one more game, and we will go for the win,” Algeria U-23 skipper Mohamed Benkablia said.

The aggregate winners will book their spot at the final tournament that will take place in Senegal from 28 November to 12 December, with the top three teams set to qualify for the 2016 Summer Olympics men’s football tournament.

The match will kick off at Stade Mustapha Tchaker at 22h00 CAT on Saturday 25 July 2015.
