2 weeks ago, Nokuthula Magwanyana, 45, was told to step down from her position as the principal of Villa Maria Primary School in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa or face death. The word 'resign' was boldly written across her office wall in red and on Wednesday August 26th, the killers made good their threats by brutally hacking her to death as she made her way home from school.

Photos from the Airforce helicopter crash in Kaduna today, 7 killed


These are some photos from the crash site of the Dornier 228 aircraft belonging to Nigerian air-force that crashed at the Nigerian Defense Academy old site in Kaduna at about 6:45 this morning. The helicopter was said to be on a routine training flight and was heading to Abuja from the Nigerian Airforce base in Kaduna, when the incident occurred. Beijing 2015: Okagbare returns to track for 200m

AFTER a disastrous finish in the 100m at the ongoing 15th IAAF World Athletics Championships in Beijing on Monday, Nigeria’s Blessing Okagbare returns to the track today for the 200m heat.
The double Commonwealth Games gold medallist finished the 100m in a disappointing time of 11.02 seconds to place last, a result which proved many bookmakers wrong.

EFCC preliminary report on Fashola ready —CACOL claims
