Kalu Orji
The West African General Manager of the foremost sports broadcasting company, Supersports, Felix Awogu has thrown his weight behind ex-governor of Abia State, Dr. Orji Kalu’s FIFA presidency ambition.

In a chat with SoccerStar recently, Awogu opined that the world governing body needed a revolution, following the corruption and bribery allegations that rocked most of its executives and believed that Dr. Kalu can bring that radical change.
“Orji Kalu is the crazy outsider that FIFA needs. He can bring this aura into FIFA.
“He is an outsider and with his antecedents in the sports coupled with his successful business background, Orji definitely has the magic wand to make things happen at FIFA.
“I am sure that FIFA will definitely benefit from the business angle because he comes with impeccable record and experience that will absolutely rub-off on the game’s governing body,” he concluded.
The GM’s approval of the Dr. Kalu’s ambition to take a shot at FIFA added to the growing lists of notable Nigerians like Rev. Moses Iloh and eminent sports’ personalities such as John Fashanu, Austin Jay-jay Okocha to mention a few, who had all spoken highly of the former Abia governor’s ambition and the need for Nigerians and the continent to support him.
