Work for global peace, religious leaders told during HWPL Thailand talks

Religious leaders have been told to take the lead in the quest to restore peace in troubled nations of the world.
This decision was taken during the second meeting of the Alliance of Religions Peace, which held at the social welfare society in Thailand.

In the event hosted by Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light (HWPL), leaders of Buddhism, Islam and Hinduism attended and engaged in interfaith “Dialogue of Scriptures” to achieve world peace.
The host, HWPL said in a release that “religious conflict is a real headache to many countries.
“While over 95 per cent of the people are Buddhists in Thailand, this meeting is an interesting event because there is still religious conflict in the south.”
The theme of discussion at the Thailand meeting, according to HWPL, was the ‘Roles for the World Peace as Religious leaders’ with every representative delivering their speeches about “peace” according to their respective scriptures.
HWPL said Husni Hamad, who is a representative of the Islam said, “I want to work for the conflict in southern and more people will join this meeting.”
The Thailand gathering also availed participants to share similarities and differences among each other’s scriptures.
Religious leaders have to take the lead to achieve peace, as it was the time to acknowledge the needs of establishing the World Alliance of Religions’ Peace (WARP) Office and comparing each scripture, participants were told at the meeting.
